All Stagestars teachers are passionate about our students having fun whilst learning new skills. We love to see the students grow in confidence and ability in every class. All teachers hold a current DBS check.
Principal, Musical Director & Choreographer
Stagestars is run by Fiona Cooper who has over 12 years of teaching experience. She has been a singer and dancer since the age of 10 and has a Diploma in Musical Theatre from the London College of Music. Fiona also worked professionally for many years as a Singer, Dancer and Entertainment Manager in various hotels and resorts across Europe. Fiona teaches the students to sing, dance and act, as well as working with them on stage presence and performance skills.
“It’s such a joy for me to be able teach such amazing students every week. I love sharing my knowledge and experience with the students and watching them grown into confident, talented performers. The Stagestars team really do put the students first, and we always strive to make sure every student is valued and encouraged to be the best they can be. We’re like one, big, crazy, happy family, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
Tracey is often the first person you will meet when you attend our Tuesday evening classes. She always has a big smile on her face and is there to welcome students and their parents, sign up new members and help with the register and payments.
“I have been involved with Stagestars for many years now and have watched the children progress from shy shrinking violets to confident youngsters. I love seeing the children each week and you can see on their faces how much they enjoy dancing, singing and learning as a group to make some amazing shows.”
Musical Theatre & Street Dance Assistant Teacher
Vicky helps out on both a Tuesday and Thursday evening at Stagestars. She helps the students to remember their dance steps, their lines and when to come on and off stage. Vicky also brings the fun to our lessons with lots of laughs and games too!
“I love being a part of the Stagestars family. The energy and laughter the kids bring each week is amazing. It keeps me young!”

Chloe is the newest member to our team and joins us on work experience whilst she is studying Performing Arts at Chesterfield College. Chloe helps the students with their acting and performance skills as well as assisting with choreography.
“I love teaching at Stagestars because there’s nothing I love more than to see a group of children doing what they love best; singing, dancing and acting! They’re literally one big family and it’s so fulfilling watching them support each other every week! Just to sit back and watch the shows they work hard to achieve makes us all very proud!
Street Dance Student Teacher
Ella is a current Stagestars student and attends both Musical Theatre and Street dance classes. She assists with the junior street dance class and has even taught her first street dance choreography which will appear in this years show!
