Meet the Team

All Stagestars teachers are passionate about our students having fun whilst learning new skills. We love to see the students grow in confidence and ability in every class. All teachers hold a current DBS check.

Principal & Dance/Musical Theatre Teacher

Stagestars is run by Fiona Eriksson who has over 15 years of teaching experience. She has been a singer and dancer from a very young age and has a Diploma in Musical Theatre from the London College of Music. Fiona also worked professionally for many years as a Singer, Dancer and Entertainment Manager in various hotels and resorts across Europe. Fiona teaches the students to sing, dance and act, as well as working with them on stage presence and performance skills.

“It’s such a joy for me to be able teach amazing students every weekI love sharing my knowledge and experience with the students and watching them grow into confident, talented performers. The Stagestars team really do put the students first, and we always strive to make sure every student is valued and encouraged to be the best they can be. We’re like one big, crazy, happy family, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Dance/Musical Theatre Teacher & Fitsteps Instructor

Beci teaches Dance and Musical Theatre at Stagestars, working on the students ability and improving their technique as well as producing some fantastic routines for our shows! She’s also a fully qualified Fitsteps instructor and puts our ladies through their paces in our weekly Fitsteps class! Fun fact: Beci is a former student of Stagestars and once played the role of Cinderella back when she was a teenager!

“I love being a part of Stagestars because I love seeing everybody be so passionate and get so much enjoyment out of something that I love so much! It’s so fun and fulfilling seeing the kids work hard and achieve something that we are all extremely proud of.”

Assistant Teacher

Charlotte is the newest member of our team, but has been dancing since she was in nappies and has plenty of experience in assisting in dance classes too. Charlotte helps out in our Primary and Junior classes as well as with Mini Stars. She leads the warm up for the students, assists with choreography and is an all round helping hand to our teachers. Charlotte is a huge help in the smooth running of the school and we can’t wait to watch her grow into a confident teacher.

“I’m so excited to be a part of Stagestars. The classes are great and everyone is always smiling and enjoying themselves. Working alongside Fiona and her team is a dream come true because I love helping the children and seeing how happy it makes them when they are dancing, singing and performing.”

Student Teacher

Ella joined Stagestars as a student in our Senior classes in 2016, she then started volunteering to help in the younger classes 2 years later and has now progressed to being our Student Teacher. Ella assists with our Junior and Primary classes, she is a huge help to all our teachers and is always on hand for tying shoe laces, toilet trips and helping students remember their dance routines. Ella always has a smile on her face and a game or activity up her sleeve to keep the students occupied.

“I love being at Stagestars because it’s like a massive family who are so supportive and have helped build my confidence. I am so happy to have the privilege of becoming a Student teacher, the students I work with are a pleasure to teach and I look forward to it every week. I can’t wait to grow more as a teacher and see what the future holds for me at Stagestars.”

Assistant Teacher

Vicky assists in many of our Stagestars classes, and is always on hand to help out. She helps the students to remember their dance steps, their lines and when to come on and off stage. Vicky also brings the fun to our lessons with lots of laughs and games too!

“I love being a part of the Stagestars family. The energy and laughter the kids bring each week is amazing. It keeps me young!”

Admin Extraordinaire

Tracey is often the first person you will meet when you attend our Tuesday evening classes. She always has a big smile on her face and is there to welcome students and their parents, help new members get settled and take the register.

“I have been involved with Stagestars for many years now and have watched the children progress from shy shrinking violets to confident youngsters. I love seeing the children each week and you can see on their faces how much they enjoy dancing, singing and learning as a group to make some amazing shows.”
